In my dreams last night I thought I'd burned
Then in a blur this body had returned
And I'm so relieved to be alive I think I have to cry
And all the things are here that I had thought I kissed goodbye

Woke this morning grateful to find
That all those flames were only in my mind
Was it just a passing horror something needed me to see
Or could it be a harbinger of something yet to be...

When I wake it's time to take a moment to reflect
And every day go out of my way to treat life with respect

Then I'll know when it's time to go I'll be ready for my death
